The International Conference in Business Studies (ICBS-2026), hosted by the Faculty of Business Studies and Finance, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, brings together scholars, researchers, and practitioners from around the world. It offers a vibrant platform to share original research and exchange ideas across diverse areas of business, finance, and management. ICBS-2026 aims to foster dialogue between theory and practice, advancing knowledge for sustainable and inclusive development. The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.

The call for abstracts and papers officially opens on 17 June 2026, inviting submissions from researchers worldwide.

Submission Deadline
All extended abstracts must be submitted by 31 August 2026 to be considered for review.

Notification of Acceptance
Authors will be notified of the acceptance of their submissions by 15 October 2026.

Accepted authors are required to submit their camera-ready papers by 25 October 2026.

Participants can benefit from discounted rates by completing early bird registration on or before 31 October 2026.

Keynote Speaker
Professor Piotr T. Nowakowski is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Pedagogy, Rzeszów University, Poland, and also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA). His scholarly work spans social work, social problems, social pathologies, social prevention, social rehabilitation, mass media pedagogy, philosophy of education, and aretology, reflecting a strong interdisciplinary engagement with contemporary social and ethical issues. He has also served as Associate Professor at the Educational Research Institute (IBE) in Warsaw and is recognized internationally for his academic contributions, including the ETR&D 2022 Editors Reviewer Excellence Award from the Educational Technology Research & Development Journal (Springer Nature). With an extensive record of publications, international collaborations, and editorial service, Professor Nowakowski brings rich global insights that align well with the ICBS-2026 theme of advancing innovative and responsible practices for sustainable development.
